The life cycle of a Axolotl.

Axolotls are fascinating creatures that have walked  the earth they are the only superhero in the world. The story of the Axolotl is something magical. While escaping death, a person shape-shifted into an Axolotl. Here is their life cycle.

Axolotls start as an egg about the size of a pea. The female Axolotl lays multiple eggs underwater. When the eggs are ready to hatch the tiny Axolotl, that look like tiny fish, come out.

A few months later the Axolotl starts to grow its legs. They have feathery gills on the side of their head. These help them breath under the water. They also develop lungs so they can breathe above the water if they need to.

Axolotl are now in the teenage form they have their front legs and their back legs they are surviving in the wild. That means they have to hunt for food. They like to hunt for worms under the sand in the water. They track and hunt food. Axolotls can regenerate any  part of its body. This means they can grow back any part that gets eaten by a predator.

Two adult Axolotls mate and repeat this life cycle all over again.

To sum it up Axolotls start as an egg, they hatch and start to grow limbs. They will always be a miniature version of their parents.
